SafePLATE heat exchangers

SafePLATE brazed plate heat exchangers are designed for applications requiring very high heat transfer efficiency, where timely detection of internal leakage between media plays a critical role. In the event of SafePLATE heat exchanger damage caused by corrosion or hydraulic shock, the specially designed double-wall system and a gap on the side surface of the heat exchanger prevent mixing of the media and also allow visual detection of leakage.

Конструкция

SafePLATE пластинчатые паяные теплообменники это проточные, противоточные устройства. Поверхность теплообмена создают гофрированные пластины из нержавеющей стали, объединенные в пакет при помощи медного припоя. Соответствующее образование внутреннего пространства теплообменника направляет поток теплообменивающих жидкостей в каналы создаваемые каждой второй греющей пластиной. Каждая нагревательная пластина состоит из двух слоев, между которыми использована система каналов, защищающих от утечки жидкостей вне теплообменника. Присоединения, резьбы или фланцы расположены на защитной пластине.

SafePlate brazed heat exchangers are a type of plate heat exchanger in which the plates are joined together using a brazing process.

Design of the Safe-Plate plate heat exchanger

The design of the SafePlate brazed heat exchanger includes the following main elements:

  1. Plates. The heat exchanger consists of parallel metal plates. The plates can be made of different materials such as copper or stainless steel, depending on process requirements.
  2. Ribs. Each plate has corrugations that increase the surface area for efficient heat transfer. The ribs may be formed on one or both sides of the plate, providing additional contact surface between the heat transfer media.
  3. Channels for heat transfer media. Channels are formed between the plates for the flow of heat transfer media. These channels are created by the spacing and connection of the plates. The media flow through these channels, enabling heat exchange between them.
  4. Brazing material. A brazing material is used to join the plates together and create sealed channels. During brazing, the plates are heated to a specific temperature at which the filler material melts and fills the gaps between the plates. This forms a strong and hermetic joint.
  5. Inlets and outlets for heat transfer media. The media enter the heat exchanger through inlet ports and exit through outlet ports. This allows control of the flow and ensures efficient heat exchange.
