Manufacture of plate heat exchangers for the fat and oil industry.In the end of May 2017, company Ankor-Teploenergo produced two plate heat exchangers for the fat and oil industry. During selecting the construct, experts of Ankor-Teploenergo took into account the nature of the media and the particular operation in each case, place in the technological scheme. The first heat exchanger was manufactured for the technological position for heating sunflower oil up to 150 ° C. The plate heat exchanger has an full-welded core made of stainless steel grade 12H18N10T. The surface heat exchange area 36 m2. Design pressure of the cooled media is 0.7 MPa, heated media is 0.6 MPa. The maximum design temperature for both media is 180 ° C. The thermal load is 293.21 kW. The second plate heat exchanger is supplied on the technological position of the sunflower oil cooler. The heat exchanger consist of heat exchange plates placed between two plates, movable and stationary. In this heat exchanger, the sunflower oil is cooled by water from 90 to 30 ° C. The surface area of ​​this heat exchanger was 15.36 m2. The maximum design pressure is 1,0 MPa. The heat exchanger cools 8.5 cubes of sunflower oil per hour. Thermal load of the heat exchanger is 243 kW. Calculation, design and manufacture of plate heat exchangers were carried out in time and qualitative in accordance with specified technical characteristics.
Supply of plate heat exchangers with removeable core for sugar industry.Company Ankor-Teploenergo realized production and supplying of 9 plate heat exchangers with removeable core to one of enterprises of the sugar industry. All plate heat exchangers with removeable core are made of high quality stainless steel. The main characteristics of plate heat exchangers with removable core: Heat exchange area is from 5.2 to 68.88 m2 for one unit. Operating pressure is from 0.002 to 0.6 MPa. Design temperature is from minus 10 to 150 0С. Plate heat exchangers with removeable core, produced by PSPC “Ankor-Teploenergo” were installed on the technological position – sugar syrup heater. Calculation, design, production and delivery of plate heat exchangers with removable core to the sugar industry enterprise, were produced in accordance with the terms of the contract – qualitatively and on time. We would like to note, that for more than 7 years PSPC Anchor-Teploenergo has been supplying and servicing the domestic sugar industry in the field of plate heat exchangers.

Plate heat exchangers ships to the customer in assembled condition; plate sections are sealed. Transportation makes by any type of transport. The heat exchanger is equipped with a brand nameplate, containing the necessary information about the heat exchanger, which is fixed on the outside of the fixed plate of the heat exchanger. Each plate of the heat exchanger is marked with a serial number according to the layout of the plates. Accordingly, if the heating surface is larger than the design surface, then with the designed number of strokes, the available pressure on the heat exchanger must be reduced to achieve design costs. The number of strokes of the heat exchanger can be checked by a special measuring probe – a ruler, and the degree of tightening – by a template-ruler.It is recommended that when a heat exchanger is arrived at the site of its installation, prior to tying it with pipelines, perform hydraulic tests. The test of semi-split heat exchangers is carried out independently and separately on the heating and cooling cavities. Tests of heat exchangers with removeable core are carried out simultaneously on both cavities with maintenance in them of identical pressures without sharp differences of pressures between cavities. Upon receipt of the heat exchanger, the operating company must create a special passport for it, into which the factory passport is attached and all the data on tests, repairs, washing and other operations carried out with the heat exchanger.When changing the layout of the heat exchangers, all dismantling and insertion work must be done on detached plates in compliance with the rules for the production of welding and mechanical work. The necessary increase of the heating surface of the heat exchangers, while maintaining their layout, may arise as the heat load of the objects increases or in connection with the requirements for reducing the hydraulic losses of the heat exchanger.Procedure of order plate heat exchangers.To select a plate heat exchanger, it is necessary to select the material and type of plate from the available initial data and make a preliminary calculation of the heat exchanger. Based on the results of calculations, you should select the required size of the heat exchanger and fill out a questionnaire list. The questionnaire list is the main document for the specification, the calculation of the price and the contract for the supply of a heat exchanger or a complex heat point. Pasteurization – heat treatment of liquids – got its name in memory of the French scientist Louis Pasteur. The purpose of pasteurization is the technological process of suppressing pathogenic forms of bacteria in food liquids, but preserving the beneficial properties of these fluids, with minimal energy input. The process of pasteurization – milk, beer, wine and other liquids (product) – energy-intensive. It consists in heating from 5 ° C to 72-73 ° C of the product, keeping it in time and rapidly cooling it to a long-term storage temperature without bacteria.

The product consumption (set by the customer) is from hundreds of kg / h to thousand kg / h. For the operation of the pasteurization unit, hot water of 76 ° C and a coolant (ice water, brine, service water) are required. The most common product requiring pasteurization is fresh milk after milking cows.

Let’s consider the variants of the designs of pasteurizers:

The simplest pasteurizer is capacitive, in special baths with a protective coating (enamel, stainless steel, etc.). The bathtub has shirts for hot water or steam and ice water. The raw milk is loaded into the tub and heated for prolonged pasteurization to 65 ° C and held for 30-40 minutes. Then cool with tap water and ice water until storage temperature.

After each pasteurization cycle, the bath is washed. Energy costs and labor costs are high, the price of pasteurization in a capacitive pasteurizer is the highest in comparison with other designs of pasteurizers. Another design of pasteurizers is tubular. Their heat exchange surface area is made of pipes. Pipes are made of stainless steel with a wall thickness of 2-3 mm. Such a pasteurizer consists of separate apparatuses. Fresh milk is pumped into the first recuperator of heat, where it is heated in a closed flow by hot milk coming out of the holder. The heat recovery of up to 55% and the product flow closed in the apparatus ensure the energy efficiency of the installation.

After the heater, a product holder with a predetermined time and pasteurization temperature is followed. From the holder, the product again enters the recuperator, where it gives off heat to the fresh product. Then follows the milk cooler in the installation, the cooling product first with process water and at the outlet, through the cooler with “ice water” (+ 2 ° C) or with a coolant (brine).

The installation of a tubular pasteurizer is cumbersome and time consuming, since hygienic apparatus requires frequent disassembly and washing of pipes that come in contact with the product. Technical progress in the forties of the last century led to the creation of lamellar pasteurizers. The modern plate pasteurizers produced by the PSPC “Ankor-Teploenergo” combined into a single unit on a common frame have the following technical and economic advantages: low laboriousness and availability for disassembly, washing, inspection of plates on both sides of the heat transfer surface and assembly of the apparatus; The pasteurizer meets all the requirements of sanitation, reliability, durability, safety of equipment for food production; The energy intensity is optimized, the heat recovery coefficient is increased to 83-90%; Pressure plates are clad with stainless steel; “Milk” fittings, no parts that are prone to corrosion; According to the customer’s initial data, the necessary calculations (thermal, hydro mechanical, strength, etc.) can be performed; The customer receives a technical and commercial offer free of charge.
